Individual Therapy
“Therapy is a place to understand yourself more deeply, so you can begin living more freely.”

A New Way Forward
Before I ever went to graduate school to become a therapist, I was a patient myself. Once a week for over six years, I made my way from Brooklyn to my therapist’s office at Columbus Circle. Those sessions became an anchor—a place where I could feel understood, challenged, and supported. Years later, when I moved from the couch to the therapist’s chair, I realized how profoundly that experience had shaped the kind of therapist I wanted to become.
I try to offer my clients what my own therapist offered me: warmth, compassion, honesty, and directness. I make room for whatever you bring into the room, while offering honest feedback, perspective, and guidance when needed. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe enough to be vulnerable, but also supported in looking at yourself and your patterns in new ways. I am not afraid to say what needs to be said.
Individual therapy can support deep personal healing and growth, helping you move toward a life that feels more meaningful and fulfilling. Many of the people I work with are navigating recovery from substance use or disordered eating, healing from traumatic experiences, or struggling with anxiety, panic, difficult relationships, resentment, low self-worth, or a general feeling of being stuck. These challenges can affect nearly every part of life, often leaving us disconnected from ourselves and unsure of how to move forward.
Together, we work to understand what is keeping you stuck, develop a greater sense of self-awareness, and build the tools to create meaningful change. My hope is that you leave therapy feeling more grounded, confident, and capable—not simply of managing what is difficult, but of creating the life you want for yourself.
